Results support estimates, design comparisons, and pre-compliance analysis. They do not replace official standards, qualified laboratory testing, or professional engineering review.
1. Purpose of the service
EMCEasy provides EMC, RF, and hardware engineering calculators. Pages aim to publish formulas, variables, units, applicability, formula versions, and references so users can review the calculation chain.
The site is not a test laboratory, certification body, standards publisher, legal adviser, or product-compliance guarantor, and it does not issue certification decisions.
2. Results and model boundaries
- Results depend on inputs, units, assumptions, and numerical precision. Correct inputs do not prove that a model applies to a particular structure, material, layout, or frequency range.
- Ideal components, uniform media, far-field, lumped-element, and other simplified models may omit dispersion, parasitics, mounting, near-field coupling, measurement uncertainty, and equipment variation.
- A plotted curve is a parameter sweep of the stated model. It is not automatically a measured EMI spectrum, a certification limit, or a product-performance guarantee.
- Safety, certification, production release, and material-cost decisions require the applicable official standard, calibrated equipment, a qualified test environment, and competent professional review.
3. Standards and references
Standard identifiers, clause references, bibliographic information, and source notes explain the calculation basis. They do not mean that the site owns, publishes, or replaces the relevant standard. Standards may be amended, corrected, withdrawn, or limited by jurisdiction and product category.
Users must obtain the applicable edition through a standards body or authorized channel and verify effective dates, scope, limits, test setup, and local regulatory requirements.
4. User responsibilities
- Check inputs, units, material data, component parameters, and whether the selected formula matches the real object.
- Keep source data, formula versions, calculation dates, and review records for important decisions.
- Do not attack the service, bypass security controls, submit unlawful content, or automate requests in a way that materially degrades service for others.
- Do not present site output as a laboratory report, certificate, official standard text, or regulatory decision.
5. Availability and changes
We work to maintain calculation integrity and availability but do not promise an uninterrupted or error-free service. Formulas, data, interfaces, and versions may be corrected; material numerical revisions will be made traceable through versioning and change notes where practical.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, users remain responsible for loss caused by incorrect input, model misuse, failure to perform necessary verification, or use beyond the published applicability conditions.
6. Contact and corrections
To report a formula, unit, chart, translation, source, or model-boundary issue, use the footer feedback link and include the calculator name, page address, reproducible inputs, expected result, and verifiable basis. We review reports according to risk and impact.
